Star Electronic vapour cigarette with PCC

The star is another addition to the electronic vapour cigarette range. It features a PCC (Portable Charging Case) by which you can charge the battery while you are out and about. A very handy feature.
The Star looks very much like a cigarette which means it has a smaller battery which lasts anything from a couple of hours to 4hrs depending on your vaping requirement.

The idea of having the Star is that you do not have to carry a big Mod which is another word for a bigger electronic cigarette which are usually much larger and do not look anything like a real cigarette.

As you can see from the photo, the Star comes in a fairly small carrying case which as mentioned above acts as a charger as well for the batteries that come with it.
The Star PCC holds 2 batteries, 3 cartomizers. On the right hand side, the Star can hold a fully assembled electronic vapour cigarette also known as vapourette.
On the left side of the PCC is where you can charge the battery. All you do is slot the battery in and press down. Once you close the lid, the battery starts charging.

There is a touch button on the PCC and 4 LEDs to let you know how much charge is left in the PCC itself and if the battery is charging or charged.
The first LED lights up red when the battery is charging then it turns into green when it is fully charged.
As for the PCC itself. You can charge it through the mini USB port at the bottom which takes about 5-6 hrs to charge fully. Once fully charged, the PCC will charge 3-4 batteries before it needs recharging again which is plenty for a day's vape.

The Star PCC is unlike other PCCs you have seen. It works with a sliding action rather than a flip top. When you slide the body down, the top flip opens exposing the battery, 2 cartomizers and the spare fully assembled electronic vapourette. They are all in one row which makes it look slim and easy to carry around.

The cartomizers can be refilled so once the e-liquid of the cartomizer is consumned, instead of replacing it with a new one, you can refil it. That way saves money which makes the initial purchase of the Star PCC more attractive.
The battery power of the Star electronic vapour cigarette is a respectable (for its size) 220mAh and you get 2 of them with the package.
The PCC itself has a battery of 1200mAh which will charge around 3-4 batteries.
The Star PCC is available at vapourettes reasonably priced at £39.99.

If you are new to vaping or a beginner and you want to make the switch and want something as close as a real cigarette, then the Star PCC package can be for you.

Personally when i first switched to vaping a little over 3yrs ago, i had to have something that looks like a real cigarette so i opted for something like the Star. My first electronic cigarette was an E-lite which was the one that took me off the real cigarette. In those days they were not anywhere near what they are today. They were more difficult to work with and cartridges use to run out in no time. There is a learning curve when you switch to electronic cigarettes. The main point s the way you use it. Always take longer and slower drags/puffs to get the best effect the real cigarette gives. If you use an electronic cigarette the same as a real cigarette, you will not get the desired throat hit or kick and also the amount of vapour (smoke).

elips vapour cigarette clearomizer

The elips has been going for just over a year or so. It's shape is a departure from the standard looking electronic cigarette we all came to associate with which is the round type.

Now the elips is available with a clearomizer that makes it the perfect vapourette electronic cigarette to carry around when out and about.

The elips has an oval shape to it so it does fit nicely in a shirt pocket or indeed any pocket and handbag for ladies. Couple that with a respectable 360mAh battery and leak proof makes the elips a very desirable piece of kit.

The early editions of the elips came with a tank atomizer and a tank that attaches to it which is filled with liquid, a mouthpiece to cover both to form the oval shape of the electronic cigarette.

In the past few months, a cartomizer has been introduced which is an atomizer and cartridge rolled into one. What that did is instead of having a 3 piece atomizer, the cartomizer is a one piece (aomizer, cartridge and mouthpiece) all into one.

The cartomizer as you can see from the photo has the wadding material that soaks and keeps the liquid for you as and when you take a puff or drag.

The cartomizer as you can see is very easy to fill as there is quite a bit of space around the centre unlike say a 510 cartomizer which is quite difficult to refill due mainly to its size.
In addition the elips cartomizer can hold a lot more e-liquid than the standard tank cartridge of the original elips. Typically 35-40 drops of liquid can go in a given elips cartomizer.

A word of caution though, if you overfill the cartomizer, it may start leaking plus also it is difficult to tell when it runs out because if you do not get any vapour when you take a drag, it could be that the cartomizer is empty or equally it could be the battery that is running out.

The introduction of the elips clearomizer solves that problem as you can see how much liquid is left just by glancing at the see-through part of it.

The elips clearomizers are much more neat and above all they do not leak. You do not get any condensation either with them and they are very easy to refill too.
They are single coil with a resistance of 2.1-2.3ohms which is the standard.

Because you can see how much liquid is left in the elips clearomizer, you can always be sure that if you do not get any vapour out of it, it is the battery that is running low.

A word of caution. When you use the clearomizer or indeed any cartomizer from brand new. Always make sure to fill it and leave it stand for a good few minutes before you start using it. If you do not leave the liquid to soak through the material inside, you run the risk of burning the wadding material and from then on your clearomizer or cartomizer will have the burnt taste which is very difficult to get rid of if not impossible.
