Rebuildable MTL tanks RTA, RBA, RDA....Which one to choose

Rebuildable MTL tanks which one to choose.

After trying a good few of them. At the moment i have the Innokin Ares, Digiflavour Siren 2 and Vandy vape Berserker.

Personally i love the Vandy Vape Berserker in spite of its quirks mainly because of its size and the looks of it. However it is the more difficult one to get right when recoiling and inserting the cotton material through the coil. On top of that 9/10 it leaks. I'm not saying that it is a fault of the tank but you need to have the very right amount of cotton going through the coil and into the well. Put too much into the well and the it gets chocked, put too little and you get it flooding.

The other 2 (Digiflavour and Ares tanks) are a lot more forgiving. For a start there is no small well for the cotton/wick which makes it a lot easier to deal with and construct. The wick in the case of the latter 2 just drapes into a channel which is more perfect.

The Berserker has a lovely form factor, easy to work with. The 2 screws are conveniently placed  so you can work on both without having to turn the deck around. Unlike the Digiflavor and Ares you have to turn the deck each time you want to tighten or loosen the screws that hold the wire.

Notice the well where the cotton
needs to go to get the liquid

Don't be fooled by the size of the well in the photo. It looks big but in reality it is quite small. The wicking material has to just about touch the bottom of the well. Do not stuff too much inside or the tank won't wick properly.

Digiflavor deck. No well. Just drape the wick

Notice the deck on the digiflavor. The wicking material is a lot easier to work with. Just drape the cotton to the base and away you go.
The Digiflavour and Ares tanks are bigger though. So there are pros and cons. If you like a small form factor then Vandyvape is the one for you but you have to bear in mind how fiddly it can be to get right. If the form factor is not your prime thing, then Ares or Digiflavor are the ones to go for mainly for ease of use. All 3 work very well. The Berserker has the tightest draw but still good. They could've done with an extra wider hole but Hey! can't have everything. The Ares and Digiflavor have more options in the department so you can have a variety of airflows.
